   What can I say? It arrived DOA. I have my old monitor, cable, and the new. Nothing. Very elegant DOA, but I am disappointed, HIGH, as one might expect. It was my first purchase on Newegg, and they want me to pay return shipping for a DOA product. I’ll pay a bit more, here is the next time now, the Amazon price is now $ 189 less. . . doubly bad for mich.Ich rating would change if the replacement is operating properly. As it is now a star.    This is a really nice monitor, and when you consider what price he is an exceptional value for money. There are aa few things to get better, because the state or hard to reach ports on the back, but it would be insignificant. Overall, the Samsung 2494SW is a really nice screen, and I recommend in all cases. Rating: 5 / 5

   I bought this monitor after using a couple of Dell UltraSharp 20-inch monitors for several years. Overall I am satisfied with your purchase. The 2494 is a very good value and has a nice, sharp images with more than enough brightness to spare (I did) I choose something down. However, there are some serious disadvantages .- The included tripod is too short, no height adjustment. If you do not want to be down on all of your time, you will need either a VESA mounting or monitor any type of riser .- The screen itself is matte (bravo!), But the opening is a super-glossy black. This means that if you have a lot of light behind the viewing position, you will always be some reflection and glare from the bezel. It is not really a deal breaker for me in view of monitoring, but generally it is very annoying to have reflections from the screen bezel. I do not understand this obsession with monitor manufacturers seem lately with a glossy “piano black” cases. You practice it is not .- The cables are embedded in the back of the screen and are very difficult to achieve. No big deal, if you define it only once, but if your supervisor from time to time, you can find those Ärgernis.Ich ‘ll probably order another if one of these I need a big screen, but I want to see that they are not from the bezel so brilliant.    This is a good value for a large LCD screen with fast response time, a bit weak backlight, the typical limitations of a TN-panel style, but also some less Macken.Die backlight is less bright than that especially in my previous Samsung SyncMaster 226BW 22 -inch LCD screen, LCD closer to say that I am 100% brightness lot of time.    I have not 5 stars for the quality of these screens. After using the Dell 2007WFP and Samsung 204B for many years it was time for me to upgrade to a better monitoring. I’ve done a lot of research on different screens and the quality of these screens is excellent. I use it mainly for photo editing and gaming.
